Thank you for this precision and I'm sorry for my remark on Saffron.
Yes, I agree, actually it looks very promising and sexy, I've been looking
forward to testing it for a long time...
You meant at Flashbelt this year? Did he showed a working version or only
printscreens?
By the way, we should cheer him up, because it is not an easy task to
produce such a piece of software.
Lately I read about somebody working on a UML Class diagramm drawing tool in
3d (not Flash/Flex/AIR based), sounds funny, might be interesting ;)

Saffron does in fact exist. Sam did a presentation at Flashbelt and he
mentioned it was going into a Beta mode at the time. Haven't heard anything
beyond that. I contacted Sam after the conference a couple times and he
never wrote back. Not sure where this stands at this point. Despite all the
hype and mystery, it looks promising. Seems to function like most of what's
out there with a nice coat of paint. Hopefuly it will have lots of features
and work as good as it looks:)
